I\'d just like to express my thoughts are with the people of London who are affected by the explosions that have ripped thru the city.

not nice, amazingly no underground fires thank god, other wise the death toll would of been in the hundreds at least

I was working for London Underground at the time of the kings cross fire, laying network cables, and have seen what the carnage can be like first hand, the emergency services and indeed the people on the trains etc deserve a huge amount of respect of the calm way in which the dealt with it.

Aye a right mess .........
Daughter and son in law have had to cancel a birthday weekend away in London, I was due to drop them off at railway station 6.00am tomorrow ... looks like a lie in now :( :( ..... thank goodness it were not 24 hrs later ! Sympathy to those and to relatives of those hurt, injured and lost

terrible day for the uk

just phoned debra\'s aunty and uncle
they live in london they are both ok
she said its like going back to the days of the ira
they dont know how they are getting home tonight tho

My thoughts go out to all victims of terrorism and maybee now the goverments of the world will crack down even harder on these terrorists and their supporters before more innocent people are harmed .I should maybee rephrase it to the supporters of these excuses for humanity.I find it hard not to swear in this post

My new daughter in laws sister has just arrived in London from South Africa, luckily she was not caught up in up. Wonder what she is thinking. Of course at times like this we always think of what could have been. If it had been at the same time on sunday, my wife, both sons and their respective wife and partner and daughter in laws sister where all at Kings Cross saying there hallos and goodbyes as they went in their seperate directions.

Thoughts again to those caught up in such an act

Oblickta that is so true mate and I believe that so many members wish they had thought of that.

I thought that I would be reaching for Me mouse when I got in tonnight.
Got to say that I am impressed with the restraint.

Jim.

aye a sad day indeed ,innocent people do not deserve this ,thoughts are with the familys and friends .i cannot understand how a terrorist could be proud of such an act

Absolutely disgusting that some of the London Hotels double their prices for people forced to stay in London last night. They should have reduced them.

the security services know about and monitor alot of these people living in OUR country , they should round them all up and keep them in detention and try them for treason . bollocks to the do gooders and human rights boffins , what human rights did the poor sods have who were innocently going about their normal duties yesterday . thought to the poor victims families.

i praise the emergency services who coped with over 700 people ,these twats have picked on the wrong country .we arent soft like others

my thoughts are also with the people caught up in this but the only way to make the country safe is to stop them coming in the first place and sending all who are already here back to there countries of origion

strong words Ray,99.9 % of ethnic people are law abidding people, they were born and bred here in the UK,Richard Reid the shoe bomber was English, dont blame joe public for this, during the IRA troubles we did\'nt go looking for white catholics to point the finger at,look at the bigger picture and dont take the easy option.
I agree that tighter controls need to be taken on people entering the country.
