just back from Tynemouth beach, wish i could still fish, would be down tonight, looks good at bottom of the stairs fishing from abou 8ish 40-50 yard lob, then along to barge bottom lovely hole there, and try Stoney Bottom.
Last night was terrible Alan, all along from Cullercoats to Whitley and Blyth - lovely looking sea but very few fish caught...matches were being won with a couple of small fish for 3lb odd, most people getting nothing. Given the lovely looking conditions, last night has to be the most frustrating night I've had in a long time....let's see how the sea-league lads get on tonight
fished bottom of stairs and slaty last night, very poor , one codling and one rockling. one other bite . might be ok tonight early on for barge before water runs away ,bathing pool corner a better bet at low water.

Had fish up here at Cresswell but nothing special, had two for Amble match. Lost another two, one on my last cast never mind. A few cod weighed in but was expecting better especially with the seas we've had lately. got all mine on sticky black and mussel.
