Can anyone recommend a shop local or site in the Uk that you can purchase just the mounts for a Lowrance elite 5 fishfinder?

Loads from USA but struggling to find a uk dealer.

Ow and what size fenders do you recommend for a 7m boat? i have always used the ball fenders but harder to store so looking to purchase some of the "sausage" fenders but unsure on what size ones would be best and others use.

whats's the width, assuming you mean a u bracket type mount. I've a few mounts int he shed from old gear

I sense there’s a story here Richy. :)

My boat came with the sausage fenders which I replaced with some of the A-Series Polyform Buoys, possibly A1 or 2 sized, as they are fatter and would fill the gaps between pontoon and curving hull. Once underway they get pulled onto the walkway deck round the sides of the cabin.

The poor weather for a boat servay is the hold up at the moment Kev, if all goes well i will put pics and report up from the trip home and the "new boat" then the work will start to get her the way i want her for the start of the new season "On-A-Roll"

If it passes its check and the sea trial goes ok this will be the new boat On-A-Roll, it is only 17 months old so should pass the checks and looks like new.

Yer she is 7.18m so will need to go on the bigger berths, that = more dosh mind :(

She cruises at 16knots and tops out at 24knots, anything about 12knots gets her up planning, has toilet, cooker and more space...its a upgrade really on what i already had...she comes with the Cummins 115bhp tdi engine

Thats a cracking result there Richy, 16 Knot cruise is perfect iI only run mine at 18 knots

It will be good to see what fuel economy you get with a 16knot cruise.

Anyway great looking boat and all the best for 2014

Sean

Currant owner says at 16knots it burns 12.5ltrs an hour at 22knots it burns 20.5ltrs an hour, his data fits with other peoples data on the Arvor owners forum.
