Long Spined Sea-Scorpion
Long Spined Sea-Scorpion
A long spined sea scorpion for me too....
Taken on a Marukyu Power Isome (red) and 3.5g Ecogear Shirasu jig head. Believe it or not but it's got a whole one of these in it's gob, the greedy little bugger even took one last gulp and swallowed my jig head when I picked it up!
Mackerel, Pollack and hopefully Bass coming shortly.....

It's no.2 actually Phill..... Lol
Just glad my horrendous run of blanks is finally up, had 5 of them too (fish not blanks, cos I've had loads of those!)
Got bored spinning for Mackerel on Shields pier so tried a bit of LRF'in. There was plenty of sprats about today and quite a lot of bird activity, but nothing spooking the bait fish and no-one catching much other than the odd Coley. That was 9am til 1pm anyways.
Gonna try and belt one out on a drop shot tomorrow at mark 44 to see if I can tempt a Plaice or Flounder. It's amazing what 5 Granny fish can do for your confidence! Lol

Just glad my horrendous run of blanks is finally up, had 5 of them too (fish not blanks, cos I've had loads of those!)

Hi chaps, I'm a long time lurker!
I'm regularly in either London/Cornwall/Northumberland, am I entitled to join the fun.
I caught my first lure Bass last year (in Brighton) and got the bug.
I'm on leave next week and aiming to head to Caster way for some jelly lure fun (I like to call them Haribo's for fish
)
I'm wanting to get some wrasse on them!
I've got XLayers and a few other things, might order some of those smaller red worm like ones.
I'm regularly in either London/Cornwall/Northumberland, am I entitled to join the fun.
