To be honest, anyone who gives the abuse he aimed at me on Saturday night deserves to be banned full stop, it was a personal attack on me and my business, apparently not his first, I don't even think he has been in my shop but I have found out he lives in peterlee, if I was the nervous type I might have been intimidated.
I speak as I find, this guy was not nice from the get go, not interested if he was trying to wind me up, instant abuse, good riddance to bad news and more than happy to see him gone, I would never speak to anyone in that tone, never mind online on a forum such as this.
It's called manors and mutual respect.

i wouldent know the bloke if he was standing next to me.but imo had your orders 4 bait been more orgonised this threat wouldent have happened.as i stated i was 1st in your shop for my order,1st time ive bourght bait in 45+years,come10.40 when bait arrived there was 12-15 people in a queue,not all were for ordered bait,so as i seen people were buying bait on speck. pleased to see its came to a happy solution with yourselfs @ the origanal threat.ps bait was spot on.not being a favourite think i got less worms in my bags,just joking everyone got the said ammount of bait.

Well I am sure he will make a beeline for people who don't go along with his twisted attitude, surely as a mod he can be switched off every time he applies, strange how a moderator can come out with that, can't you block him??

Believe me, he doesn't supply moonfleet with bait, my supplier wouldn't be happy to hear someone boasting that, I have been handed his address yesterday but that wasn't requested by me, he obviously has upset people elsewhere enough for someone to drive to my shop just to give me that

Sorry like he didnt attack your business in anyway...He said let the tills do the talking he never put Moonfleet down in any way whatsoever!! He called you a c*k and said youre arrogant yes..But not much different to you calling mick ball less and a keyboard warrior bitch in my opinion...So I guess different rules apply to different members...if people cant take a bit name calling on the internet from a random person then there is something seriously wrong...people that dish it out should be able to take it simple as

It doesn't bother me but when unprovoked it is abusive, people like that give the forum a bad reputation, they also put people off asking genuine questions, I recommend all new anglers register on nesa and ask questions only to be told "there are some people jut waiting to shoot you down so don't bother"
Had I retorted with the same attitude I am sure it would have been deleted earlier, I gather you have not been on the receiving end of his tirades.
Maybe your attitude would be different if you had.
I try to help anyone who comes into my shop and asks advice, we have on several occasions stopped people wanting to spend fortunes on the latest tackle and sent them away with a packet of worms, a 2 hook flapper and the knowledge how to make them on their own, I am pro active in helping people and promoting fishing, to be blasted by someone who does not know me is very immature, worse again is the thought that new anglers won't come online because of the likes of this individual.
If it offends you that I didn't take kindly to his outburst then I am sorry but the more the moderators can do to bann the likes of him the better

Simple enough for him to do, pointless banning accounts if they're just gonna rejoin with a different name, kinda defeats the purpose, if anyone is to get banned should be an instant IP ban, saying that you can easily get around that with a VPN but I very much doubt people will bother for a fishing forum but you never know..

I'm guessing you didn't see a lot of what he posted me and another mod were deleting his posts as he was posting them. He'd been warned previously about being abusive. It was in a thread that he had no positive contribution to make to, other than to dish out abuse and veiled threats.
I saw more reported posts in one night about him than probably the rest of the year put together
respect to moonfleet for not asking for the thread to be removed and not asking for him to be banned or actually reporting anything he posted, Thats was entirely a descison by mods
IP address bans are not that effective these days, they change frequently with every isp and add to that all the mobile devices folks use, logins from work etc etc, they make little difference
