I have nothing to hide but am quite willing to stand up and say I would be happy to recommend this guy be banned for life, if he has been previously warned it beggars belief that he carried on, I saw personal insults on another forum member that were disgraceful,
If more of the dross were kicked off then maybe anglers with passion would prevail.

I was very active in the topic and nothing I seen apart from the calling of a c*k was that bad and i will say again he never put moonfleet as a business down in any way so mods must have been pretty fast and im 90% sure that no mod was active during the beginning of the topic!! And Paul im not disputing your shop or how helpful you are and I myself like to help new anglers myself which is why i take my 5 year old daughter fishing!!
The same can be said which your reply to the original op of the deleted topic, new comers to the sport or forum would have seen your reply to his post and thought f that im not going shopping there..as said i have seen a few topics where you have said you are fine with a bit criticism but as soon as people do you dive straight on them with "keyboard warrior" or "grow some balls" etc when that could be seen as immature after all as you say...you dont know that person as marco didnt know you so why throw personal insults about

Fair enough if he's been warned enough but same should go for certain members that provoke him to bite,I seen one member provoking him in practically every post, A personal insult is a personal insult...its only as bad as the victim makes it out to be and in my opinion especially being the site sponsor you should act in a more professional manner with customers wether they mention a problem to your face or on a forum, Im damn sure a lot more people would have been happy to see a post from you with no personal insults to the op....as said i dont care what people call me "its the internet" Yes im opinionated but i get on with anyone and have no problem with anyone on this forum

Probably why your not a mod, impartiality has to come into play, the moderator has already put you in the picture stating comments were made with no positives and no fishing content, I suggest you read the comment by mick303, I took it on myself to "explain" not excuse the circumstances behind the initial grievance , the individual decided to hurl a tirade of abuse on me and my company, enough said, maybe your rose tinted spectacles have a smudge on them and need cleaned.
I put it to you, had this been you on the receiving end it WOULD be different

Totally agree Billy especially when youngsters are reading but wether someone gets called a cok or a keyboard warrior bitch its uncalled for either way so whats good for one should be good for EVERYONE...as said ive seen topics like that about other tackle shops that havent been deleted, A mod said before it was moderated and bad content removed...so why was the topic deleted? site sponsor thats why

Moonfleet didn't ask for it to be deleted, it was deleted as mods were sick of having to sit and read the same tit for tat rubbish going back and forth and serving no purpose other than to irritate and wind up other members.

While we're on about honesty,i honestly believe,a better man would rise
above provocation,but you were both intent on having the last word,regardless of the fact it had long since passed constructive argument/criticism.You can't argue on your own.
