you can't realy pick one place as if you don't respect the sea wherever you are fishing a simple mistake could be your last. Though some will have built in risks, piers without railing, high cliffs, steep beaches, quaysides.

tynemouth pier in a big n/e people still risk it ,lifeboat and helicopter called out last year,fish safely,and leave the lifebelts alone,you never know when you may need them .davy.
