Part, (a small part), of the BIG JOB I\'m currently working on (which is what\'s keeping me away from NESA a bit at the moment), has been designing some promotional stuff for the Local Authority.
This got me to thinkin\' (dangerous, I know)...........

The company I\'ve been dealing with (based in South Shields), have been putting my designs on (amongst other things) coffee mugs.

They charge something like £6.00 per mug.

I was wondering if there\'d be any demand from NESA members for a NESA MUG ?

They\'d look something like this.......

If there\'s enough interest (say 10, at first), I might be able to get some done. I would, however, stress that.............

If you say you want one - you don\'t back out - I\'d be forking out the cost of ALL of the lot up front and don\'t wanna be left with a cupboard full of them.

This is all just a thought at the moment.

Does white lighting take the paint off them?

Who made the \"Coffee\" in that mug :o

David,
The £6.00 per mug I mentioned was a rough estimate of the cost and I\'ll need to get a proper quote from them.

The only way any of the unit cost could go to a good cause, would be if I stuck that extra element on top of the actual cost, myself.

The work they\'ve been doing for me is the 1st time I\'ve used them and I can\'t really start asking favours of them, (ie donate a %age of the costs to, say the RNLI fund), JUST YET ;)

If I do go ahead and get the mugs produced, would those who have said they\'d want one be willing to pay and extra £2.00 on top of the ACTUAL unit price as a donation to the RNLI ?

If the quote I get is (for arguments sake) £6.00 per mug - then the cost per mug to members would be £8.00 - PRETTY EXPENSIVE FOR A BASIC WHITE MUG, I reckon.

Ell,
It\'s coffee like that which keeps me going \'til 3:00am, m8....lol
You forgot to mention how many mugs you wanted ;)

Point taken. Perhaps the cost could be a minimum of £6 and anything anyone wants to donate over and above could go to the RNLI ?

I\'ll leave it \'til Monday to see if there\'s any more interest before I go see if they\'ll produce the mugs - and if so - at what cost.

Thanks John - I\'ve ammended the list accordingly.

I wasn\'t expecting to have 10 requested this quickly :o

I\'ll still leave approaching the marketting firm until Monday - I might be able to give them a bigger order by then (depending on the prices they quote me, that is ! and how much I can afford to shell out up front).
