Daddy's an old poacher. :) Reformed now by the way!:D Lune was one of the hotspots. :) Apparently it took a concrete post from the railway bridge to scare the salmon into the net,s!:o

:D sorry lads popped out to replenish my tinnies :D:D
few cans of the black stuff to give me strength for tomorrow :o:o:cool::cool:

He gave up at 48 yrs old, couldn,t outrun the buggers then!:) Can remember him sending me out with a couple of seatrout about 5-6 lb one morning in front of a couple of the canal lads who said they'd been fishing that morning! only about 9 yrs old myself, the lads were gobsmacked when i said i'd caught these this morning!:D Twisted sense of humour poacher's!!!:)

during hard times:(:( when a leccy bill came through the letter box, i was fully employed that night. my poor bride used to be sat bolt upright in bed at dawn waiting for the "beckies" to knock the door down. i did a bit of galloping across rough country in them days. no echo margerine and mothers pride for my bairns.

Could write a book on all the old gadge has done to be honest' :) Can remember him telling me when they'd been rumbled one night and were hiding under a hedge. My old fellas mate had had a sh~~e there earlier, now they were hiding there, they suffered the smell, and bieng bitten by midges, found themselves hiding from the river keeper at the time, when they thought the game was up and they thought the dog had found them, got off the hook when said dog started rolling in the said sh##e!:):):) They still laugh about the stinky dog!!!:)
