Tony - wonder if you can help? Why, when I sign in are all the posts highlighted, even though I have viewed most of them? Didn\'t used to be like this in the old days (possible bite there)......... or is it just my usual ineptitude, just like the old days (another fast had then)

I\'ve got to be honest here and own up.......I don\'t have a clue, David :exclam:

Sometimes when I log in, I get the same as you\'ve described (and I read EVERY post). Other times, it works as it should, and only flags up posts made since I was las logged in.

To paraphrase Mark, I blame it on the \'net fairies.

I realise that, by no means, is that the reply you were hoping for, but, as I said, I\'m being honest........lol

It\"s been the same for me David but last week seemed a little worse with every one highlighted mate. It just seems to be intermittent.

Do you delete all cookies after you internet usage.

If I do a clean out then next time I log in it shows up that I haven\'t read any posts.

Your right Ian if you delete your cookies and maybe your temp internet files it will wipe out your tracking cookies therefore it will show up that you have\'nt read these post\'s and will appear as new posts.
I run Adaware 6 and Spybot search and destroy and this has the same effect,
i would recommend these two programs as well by the way,they are both free to download and simple to use.

I do delete files periodically and, as you say, it does wipe out my logging in but this is all the time. Will not let it spoil my day however, unlike the WEATHER FORECAST. I\'m up in the Lakes for 4 days from tomorrow (well Grange over Sands) and the forecast looks wet for the tent.

You always get a bit of rain in Cumbria m8,hope you enjoy it anyway,you planning on doing some fishing ?
