New Reel

Alreet Lads, im after a new reel and been looking at the Saltist 30. Ive noticed there is a 30H and a 30TH, does anyone have either of these and could you tell me the difference please.

If you go onto the daiwa web site it maybe explained in detail the differences between the reels.
Failing that i'm sure there will be someone in the know on here who will.

if your fishing from the shore,saltist 30h,if from a boat saltist 30th

I bought a saltist a month or so ago, love it to bits. very good quality, great casting reel with good rough ground capabilities.

my uncles got a 30h top reel m8 very well made ..... the othere is for boats like sum 1 has said ....

Yes, TH for boats, sits higher up, tricky to get a good grip on the spool if using it off the shore.
