dont wanna pay over the odds but i need somthing decent as i feel this winter is gonna be a good one for more lol and one with any ideas not bothered what brand it is as long as it cast well and hardly moves with the wind lol

buy second hand mate, you get a better rod for your cash,get something along the century,greys or conoflex range,billys in shields has a few good rods in at the min and they will be happy to help.

I,ve just bought an Abu Suveron £120 and i,m not keen on it.

I suppose its a case like meeting my missus it will get better in time.

I,ve seen some nice Grays beachcasters for £90.North East Tackle Supplies.
Hartlepool and Sunderland.

Alternativly buy second hand off e-bay i got a lovely old Abu conoflex thing £50 last year,

Mk 1 apollo if you can get one 2nd hand. They will be under £100. I have got 2 ron thompson accellerators and they are mint for the money. £110 new.

cheers lads i like ron thompson gear but will adjust to anything i want a rod that barley moves with the wind as the one i have now is poo lol slight winds makes it shanke like mad ill put a post in the wanted section

They've got the greys apollo m2 in hardys at Alnwick for £100 others reduced as well. Might be worth a trip. ring before though just to check.
