fished the above today started about 830 on the beacons fist cast got a small codling. about hour later got a bite standing with rod in hand then bang not a fish a wave from the side took me and rod in the sea my brother got my rod back as i was splashing about got back on rocks after a few mins never be lucky like that again just pleased i did not have my chestys on . home time and pint

Glad you are safe mate, not everyone is that lucky, the sea takes no prisoners, it just shows how quickly you can be washed into the water without any prior warning.

Decent tide and swell running ive see the waves come in on the north becons like blocks a flats to be avoided. lucky escape mate defo pint needed after that !

nippy more like freezing had to sit down for a pi;;s ha ha . gutted that is was 1 off my new rods its batted
