Nightmares getting in to NESA

just going to post the same, been having problems for a while but getting worse, keep getting a MDB2 error, connect failed, or pages cannot be found. No problem with any other sites.

seemed to start when the board was upgraded a couple of weeks back (along with the nice ads!)

not a server issue I don't think, I reckon its something in the boards software thats not set properly, waiting Elton's return to see whats what (or not)

happening here, but as much as it looks like other folks, I get the odd error now and again and an occasional "page not found" which is odd as refresh the page and it usually comes up

i have also been getting the same problem now for a few weeks....i just thought i had done something wrong in my settings

I've removed the 'Comments on NESA Articles' section. It was an experiment that didn't work. That also means I've disconnected the forums from the main site, which I *hope* is what was causing the problem. This server is experiencing a MASSIVE overload, which engineers don't seem to be able to pinpoint. Fingers crossed.

As you'll see from this thread, the ad thing is a problem that is hitting a few sites. Working with the moderators, I'll look at blocking each 'dodgy' one on an individual basis until Google sorts its act out.

I read somewhere that some 'expert' looked in here and reckoned I make a killing. Yesterday, NESA turned over $2.12. Over a 7-day period, it grossed $19.59. That's US Dollars - check out the current exchange rate whilst I nip off and order another diamond encrusted ABU 6500..... :D

Elton - your royalties from "Goodbye Yeller Brick Road" should more than cover the admin costs, it's all those fancy parties you keep having - and I bet that Kenny likes expensive cake as well :p

Please make our forum dead quick again please. I'm even starting to miss the ads :(

Been locked out of NESA for two days now. Wouldnt accept user name or password. Dont know what happened but its just let me back in.

Must admit that's what's saved in my favourites anyway so I aint been getting much bother ,didn't think of suggesting it as a solution ,nice one Norman.

same here steve ,i thought it strange how i was getting straght on ,but others were having issues - i have had loads of new pop ups about Phishing ,but that must be my settings

at least were all sorted now :)

Same here, I have always had the forum saved in my favourites instead of the new home page. I wondered why so many were having problems and yet so many others were not :casstet::casstet:

Jim.
