A couple of nice cod were also weighed in by a couple of the North lads

Aye, well done everyone who turned out, some nice fish there for Nicky & Davy; only small stuff for me tonight but at least managed to add a bit to the north total:)

Gary :)

Well done Davey on pipping me on the H/F was a long wait the last 5 minutes with the rumours of the 9lber .

Many thanks to Stores and Tynemouth Angling Club.

Well done to the North side on their win, and also congrats to Davey and Nicky on their winning fish, Also thanks to BOTSAC, and Stores for organising the event.

there was a pound of roe in my fish that made the difference nick still yours was a cracker too well done on pipping me for the heavy bag ,was glad when it turned 11 though all that cash at stake. davy.

Well done nicky, 5 more minutes would have done it for me, fish a chuck just about. Less than an ounce between our bags!

Well done to all who fished in that wind, especially Dave and Nicky, experience and local knowledge pay off yet again
I fished the south side of Cullercoats harbour with Dean (wheres the fish). Hooked in to something decent at 7.40pm which snapped my rod on the way in:(. I hadn't brought a spare rod as my RT axe is awaiting repair (lesson learned) so i was just willing Dean on until 10.30. A lot of bites were coming but just couldn't connect.
As i now have plenty bait left i might try to sneak out for a few hours later if these winds calm down.

Davy

PS The rod was an SK3 and yes it was the tip section, last 18".

Hi mate well that's just about snap snapped mine at about 9:30 it was a sk4 it was also the tip section an I had no spare so sat and watched Casper fish 😥

Unlucky mate. It's a right pi55er.
I only got mine in October from veals so will still be covered, hope yours is too, but my replacement will NOT be sonic. Need something we can rely on.

Well done the Noth

Well done the Noth

Great result lads, and what about them SONIK Rods eh ! tsk tsk, Should of went to Radio Rentals lads, would of got something a "lot" more Reliable. only one or two Rods to take fishing that you can really rely on and that's Century or Greys, you just can't go wrong with these quality brands.

Well done again the North and feel sorry for the lads with the Sonik Rods, another couple of Anglers nights Fishing wasted.
