Open Boat Competition.

The Sports and Leisure open boat competition is being held this Sunday 12th. The comp. is open to all boats private and charter. Entry is £10 all classes. Tickets are in shops now or on the day from 7 a.m. at the Royal Quays Marina North Shields. Fishing is from 8 a.m . to 4 p.m. with weigh in from 4p.m. until 5-30p.m. at the Royal Quays. This is a heaviest single fish match, one prize one angler. There are two boat catagories, under 20 foot, and over 20 foot. The three heaviest fish in each catagory will receive a percentage of the entry monies. There is also a good supporting prize list, there is a special prize for the heaviest fish from a kayak.
Boats can fish from any port they like but must weigh in at the Royal Quays.
