I'm the same lads, I keep certain reports to myself from my own spots I've learned from 20 years ago! I put on catch reports when I fish the most popular marks which every angler worth his salt knows about. That's the beauty of this sport you study, you learn and it improves your chances. Rigs, casting distance, bait presentation and the right conditions that's what its all about! I commented earlier rocker about no wonder your keeping it to yourself! Good on you mate that was a "in jest comment" think some lads on here have took things a little serious though!! Keep up the good work look forward to seeing a bigger bag!!

welldone on a nice bag of fish , personally i would not reveal the mark i got them from but then there is a lot of bragalls , look at my fish , so i dont put catch reports on myself but try to help out in other ways , seems like the same people trying to make a name for them selves , time after time , iimho if you want to tell people how good you are share the location or keep it quiet all together

Yeah, there seems to be more and more bragalls these days, but what they don't tell people is: How long they fish for " usually 7 - 14 hours" and also they don't tell you how many Rods they are using while catching these MASSIVE bags " probs 2 - 3 " looking at the amount of fish !
anyways am ganning to a secret mark this week, and all I can tell yu all is it's South of the Equator.... enough said...

Totally agree with just for laughs and cod magnet.I don't feel the need personally to say to people hey look at the fish I caught are'nt I good.so if you don't want to tell people where u catch fish then that's fine but the question then is why put a report on in the first place?what do you get out of it? Ego satisfied yet?

ok i caught 27 cod last nite but am notr putting pics on or revealin mark cos al sound like a bragger by the way nowt under 3 pund tight lines lads,aw a cant go thru with it al tell u where i was .crinkly bottom,

Thank you Rocker for posting, I enjoyed reading your report and I hope to read more from you and others who catch some fish.
That is why we log on here, to read of other's success and some other's blanks!

Loads of lads put "up north" posts on here.
Some of the marks I fish are dangerous, and the last thing I want is for a novice or stranger to the area being cut off and drowned because they've read my post on here.
Like the lads climbing fences and then reporting, I know some of them and they know the venues enough to know when to get off, but someone reading the report may not notice the dangers.
It's sad that most of the negative comments are fueled by jelousy,
The fish are there to catch, I had another 2 last night!
I've not broken any forum rules.
Nor do I care what negative people post on here.
Cheers and good luck for the rest of the season!
