Pedulum Cast

Just wondered how easy is the Pedulum Cast to learn,ive never tried it as it looks dodgy.
Ive looked on you U tube at loads of tourni and the normal person doing it,but none show you how to do it.
Im getting a new rod and was told that i could do this cast with it and just wondered.
And is there any where people can go to learn this cast or is it just somthing you have to learn on your own.

If you contact sea angler magazine and ask for Marianne Paine she will give you a contact number for your local casting instructor... they instructors may charge a minimal fee and some may even teach you for free, I was pointed in the direction of a Tommy Kitson from Murton who almost doubled my distance to between 190 & 210yds. Enjoyed every minute on the beach with him... cracking guy!

there is a casting event on the 19th jan at redcar tuition and tips are free

you can learn a lot from just being there and watching but if you ask the lads will be only to happy to show you im not sure if there are any instructors up your way peter t was the boy up there but hes moved to iceland

try barry rushton he is the lad.does all the casting and is registered as an instructor.

hi, like baz says ,come along to one of our tourno events, plenty of instructors at hand who'll give friendly advice and encouragement and point you in the right direction ,great fun and well worth the petrol money
