Petrol hand warmers.

Their good a rekn like got 2 my self last up to 5 hours give or take a bit we'll mine does anyways got 1 of them tht takes them feul sticks nall thr gd jst a bit hard to light wen its windy

I've got the zippo ones and they're ****e the catalyst part that sits in the top keeps coming off and putting the thing out. Fluffy pockets are the way like.

Mind I didn't pay for mine I get them from work

can you buy new catalysts easy enough though ??

Had mine now for 3 years and still going but not sure about catalysts, will have to dig out the instruction manual and check if spares are available. - also have the zippo type and you can get the catalysts for them easy enough

yes I already mentioned that type, I meant for the electronic one you posted

Cannot find the manual for the 'S' Boston type so had a good look at the them and it looks like the burner is not changeable as the section that holds the burner looks as though its 'pressed' in place. However saying that, I have used mine extensivley over the past three years and they are still going strong. They burn hotter than the zippo and burn time is longer. I usually set them away before leaving and they are still going 12 hours later. I have both types and prefer the 'S' Boston over the zippo simply because they are easy to light (electronic) and can be turned off if need be by simply reversing the top section. They are expensive compared to the other types available but I would still buy another one if and when required. Cannot complain about the length of time and use I have had out of them.

Had my fire fly hand warmers out last night.had them burning for 12 hours and were red hot all night then when a got home had to put then out coz there were still going strong.cracking for the price I say.

Ive had nothing but bother with the charcoal ones and petrol ones, pair of gloves is the best idea. Even had the gel filled ones that you microwave, didn't last long. The chemical ones i tried last week are ok but only last 1 session.

That's it mate but when you get a stonking bite on the end of the rocks I hate having to take them off to retrieve me fish. Most of the time my hands are out in the elements but I'm always busy so tend to keep nice and warm. I don't even know where my zippo one has gone and tbh I'm not bothered by it either.
