Preferred boat rigs

What's everyone views on this? Is it worth making your own or will daylights/hokkais etc do the trick?

i enjoy making my own and get satisfaction when they catch. Often make my own daylights and feathers and jiggers . I find fladen have some good ideas but the quality/knots are crap so i copy them or butcher them to improve the quality..
