Realy big one

Good to see that the question of Shark Culling was raised due to a bloke being 'suspected' of being taken by a Great White.

When will people realise that when people get taken/injured, they're in the Sharks environment, not ours.

Great Whites are one of the most fantastic creatures on this planet, we should protect them, not look at culling them.

when i was in South Africa the begginning of last year, one lad that does a lot of kayak fishing, said it wasn't uncommon for great whites to come up right beside your yak. As they do with any other boat. And as Davy has already siad you are entering their environment, and if you get bitten they are just tasting you to see what you are, like dogs and babbies do, everything in the mouth. Only thing is a sharks tasting can have some pretty serious consequences.

If you ever do get attacked by a white shark you should punch it as hard as you can on the tip of it's nose.
If that doesn't work you can poke it in the eye with your stump..:D
