Reelsport!

Does anyone know whether Terry Wood still has his website? If not could anyone tell me the name of his 12ft fishing rod that was reviewed by Barney Wright in Total Seafishing.com. Does anyone have one and if so do they recommend it?

Never knew he had a website.

Last I knew, he had a VFM, Response and Blue Thunder in his range.

Give him a call, 0191 4300247

longbeach was the rod tested by barney and later changed to response and its 13ft plus reducer.
hope this helps ya ;)

barney also tested the vfm and the bluethunder, the bluethunder and the respone is 13\'6 and the vfm is 13 foot, the vfm cost about £110, respone £275 and the bluethunder is about the same price as the respone

VFM\'s a great rod for light work, clean beaches, estuaries, piers. Lovely smooth action and a last you a lifetime feel to the fixtures and fittings.

cracking rod Sless but not a out & out rock rod hence i just sold Ollie his old one back.Ollie has a use for it more than me,it just couldnt handle the real rough ground imho.

totally correct gordon ,its a tough rod though and can blast a lead way over 200yds on any day ,for real kelpy situations a blue thunder or apollo mk1 ,fireblade sport and a few others spring to mind ,i like the apollo and blue thunder as they lock out when hauling through kelp beds ,but med rough ground the longbeach is a great rod like sless said .i think terry should be proud of his rods
