Dropped my rod last week and the ceramic and plastic insert flew out , all that's left is the metal cage . Can you replace inserts rather than get a new ring whipped on
Why buy a new ring to knack it buy taking out the insert to put into an old ring, take it to a shop and get it done propely for an extra couple of quid.
You'll be amazed as to how well they've matched the wipping, unless you've got a bashed rod in the first place. Often rod builders use the pop method as it's so quick and easy.
