river tyne marks

has there been anything caught lately i tried the police jetty last weekend,had no bites just crabs takng my worms ha ha

hi johnny, tynes been fishing very well on the smaller tides, i fished the walker riverside last sat, sun got 12 keeprs on sat up to 3lb on crab and lug, and 9 on sunday up to 2lb fished over low water about 2 hrs up, plenty small rattles aswell, hope it continues, tight lines bud korky...

Hi Korky
where is the riverside park on the tyne i know where pottery bank is where you go under the bridge & St Peters basin & spillers there the only marks ive fished i would be traveling from Ashington over the Silverlink roudabout and up the slip road to the left just before the Tunnel. Thinking of fishing the tyne tomorrow morning 8am till 1pm so any info would be a great help in choosing a mark.

That whole stretch of pottery bank is classed as the riverside park i believe,you can also access it down belmont bank.The tyne is fishing well from most people i`ve spoke too on both sides,from spillers,the basin and walker as korky said.Same goes for the south side too from gateshead down to jarrow.
