Roker Pier 2 canny cod, 01/02/2012

[lovetofish]

Fished the barrier last night from 7pm till 10pm. Used a big bait of lug tipped off with mussel. Fished inshore for a few casts, nothing showed, then moved a bit further up the pier and managed 2 fish. The first weighed 3lb and 4ozs and the other was 5lb 10ozs. (my PB for this season) A very enjoyable nights fishing.

Nice one BJ! I do like to fish Johnsons when the conditions are right but I have to admit its been poor there of late.
