Roker pier

Hi all, does anyone know of anything doing on the pier not? Was planning on going down first thing on a morning and not sure what gear to take (spinning etc)

I know it's usually hit and miss like

Daylights and spinners usually Jimmy but the water is very dirty at the moment so dont think there will be many mackerel about. Rag and mackerel strip if your planning on bait fishing.

Went down earlier about 10am, fished behind the wall & only managed a coalie...

They started pulling in 3 at a time just as the Mrs came to pick me up, water was still a bit coloured but the fish were there, also a few launce pulled in so the feed is there aswell.

Dont quote me on this, but im sure a sign on pier stated its closed wedneesday, saturday & sunday?

Deffo had on the sign something about wednesday, probs to put the long orange markers out for the Red Arrows.

Yip deffo shut sat and sun so the nummty's will have to find somewhere else to go.

Last week there was a canny few macky getting caught also loads small codling just under size and some size.
