I was tempted to buy Sea Angler a month or two back but recalled the self same problems of repetition from my previous sea angling days( 20 odd years back and more), when exactly the same thing used to happen; same info, same articles etc. so I didn't waste my money.
It's the same with fresh water fishing literature.
Of course, what happens; is that as the techniques and tackle develop, they only trickle through to the wider world quite slowly. So we end up reading the same old tripe, time and time and time again, with the odd little more interesting tit bit chucked in now and then.
The thing is these days; you don't have to rely on waiting for a magazine to come out every month,
hoping you will find something interesting in it.
You simply fire up the pc and away you go:yltype:
Mind you, a magazine
is ideal when you're sitting, having a break at work or whatever
cheers
