Had a trip up seahouses today with me mate phil. We had bites from the off and the wind got up which spoilt it a bit but it was an enjoyable day with a couple of nice codling and a nice wrasse. We had a few scruts as well, here are some pics of the better fish.

Nice pics mate love that red colouring on the fish what was the bottom like, did you lose much tackle and what bait did you use.

Its heavy ground mate, plenty of kelp hence the colour of the fish. Fresh crab is the best for the summer fish. I only lost a few leads and one rig but its worth it for the quality of the fishing.

spot on nick i had twenty yards of kelp in front of me big tide,i tend to like the smaller tides plenty of water in front of me only lost three rotten bottoms so not to bad .davy.
