sprat rumors????

i have been fishing a few times in the last week and not had a thing!not even a bite!!!! but have been told by a few people that there will be no fish for a while as there is a big shoal of sprat out at sea and the fish are feeding on these??any one else heard these rumors??:confused::confused::confused:
 
The whole area off the north east coast has been trawled to death because there was a few fish at the biggining of the season the sand eels are true aswell according to the trawler lads !!!

must be using small nets to get the sandeel they will not get much from them.

I know times are hard but trawling for sandeels.

juat hope that the fish do venture back closer to shore so us lads can catch sum thing half decent to take are mind off xmas and how much lighter are wallets are due to buying presents duble figure fish will sort me right out:exclam:
 
just been told no more than two minutes ago that there is a bank of sandeels just a mile and a half off and there are plenty fish there and some realy bigs uns, lots around 20lb. The sandeels won't last long, the shaols could well break up withy the sea that is running, get your gear ready

Must be a good crystal ball you have got mate.............
 
By all accounts Hendon Prom Beach was covered in dead Sprats and Sand eel the other night and that the shoal is about 30miles long. Not sure if it's 100% but the source is usually spot on.:(
