Started fishing from 10am until 10pm , started the day at Amble buying 50 frozen peeler, was all we could get would have prefered fresh. Any how back to fishing decided to bait fish as it was too rough for spinning between the 3 of us ,we pulled in about 10 coalies from 1 to 2lb and a few maccys. Fish of the day was caught by me. As i struggled with a birds nest for about 20 minutes finally sorted by cutting it out and joining the line again.. Reeled in and there was a 2lb Wrasse on the end a first for me.. Also bought one of those cheapy ebay lobster nets and caught a couple of sized edible crabs until the tide dragged it off. It was a bit scary at times with those winds and the rain i have to say. All in all a decent day ,no giant Cod but still sport.

well done on the wrasse mate ...missed it when i was at st abbs. its a good mark. accesibilty is a !""£% tho , would love to do it again . will be more prepared for the rocks mark next time i go ...whereabouts did u fish ?

Dont know the name but if you park at the lighthouse and walk back towards st abbs there is a skere about 10 mins walk like a bay. Good mark not as bad to get too as the croc back but slippy as hell.
