St Marys?

Hi all, first post here :) I Fancy giving St Mary's island a shot soon, just wondering if it is a good mark over high tide? And where abouts would be the best spot to fish?
Any advice will help please.

Cheers :)

its mostly low water shots mate, with west bay and crisps gully the main shots i fish. but you get fish all the way round the front with the stone cairn being popular.

you can fish into the bottom hole of west bay fishing the tide down and it does produce fish. all marks need a bit of sea but you do get fish out of crisps and west bay when its flat.

hope this helps.

Cheers lads, you think its worth a shot at high water aswell? i know you get cut off for a bit but could have a few hours at high tide? or is it only really suitable at low tide?

you can fish two hours either side of high tide on the smaller tides ,this is a big fish shot at night with a bit of a sea running ,mick clark from whitley club fishs it often in club comps ,had a good fish from there recently. chrisps is my fav followed by the stone piller.best to fish it with a mate fish safely. davy.

hope nobody minds me cutting into a tread here but its nearly a year old:D:D
whats st marys like for spinning:confused: any tips on lures and tatics would be nice:D:D
