Sunderland v Newcastle

marco your last post re motd comes up at 8.48 on my l/t,thats the problem it should say 7.48. but the time is correct on bottom right n/t date.if that makes sense cheers.

That eastpierlad started it, he should close it but he's gone missing heheheh, probs overthrowing a democracy some where.

shock horror! newcastle fan starts a newcastle v sunderland thread in the week leading up to the derby, and he predicts a win for his side! i didn't comment on the actual derby day as i was in the pub at 8.45 am, and not home til after 12 , too tipsy to see let alone type, i had better things to do!

make no mistake about it i'm gutted, i convinced myself we would turn you shabby lot over, always dangerous making predictiions , i got it wrong, we were worse than you 1st half, second half we were in charge with no real end product, hba starting up front by himself confused me. colbeck was excellent and cattermole did very well. the second goal was a screamer

I was lucky (is that the word?) to be at the game, but came away bitterly disappointed , that's football. newcastle are too inconsistent.

I like a bit crack about the football, i'm still passionate about it (though not as much as i used to be, kids / work / ashley etc) the same certain few have a problem with that, simple answer, don't read or comment on my posts, it aint rocket science.

what can i say, i'll be there on wednesday night, and if we dont play better it could be a massacre, though we are also quite capable of beatiing them, or at least competing, like i said too inconsistent

It's a funny old game Saint

Aye, was just saying there to the lads at work - wouldnt be surprised if Newcastle won tomorrow night - just the way it goes.

Cant figure Newcastle out - so unpredictable....if all their players turned up at the same time they are capable of beating anyone. Unfortunately their stars - Cabaye, HBA, Cisse, Tiote...etc...only turn up once every 5 games - Newcastle have had too many players like that past 10 years.

Hope they thrash City and both our 2 top north east teams have a decent cup run.
Would LOVE to see either team win a cup - never happened in my lifetime. Excluding of course Championship/Divison1 and Newcastle winning the Intertoto Cup :)

You seem to be obsessed about noise.

Do you have hearing issues?

You would if 55000 screaming feordies could make the same racket we did on saturday

How did division 92 go about bringing the noise back to the wongadome tonight :D:D

It was like a morgue

Were you there? There was plenty empty seats, 20k in fact

Interestingly the ground holds just over 52k so take a couple thousand off for away fans, would be hard to get " 55,000 screaming feordies" in there?

Also, interestingly, there was over 33,000 there tonight which means around 19,000 empty seats, mackems last home CUP game attendance was just over 18,000, so around 30,000 empty seats???????

Wow.

So your point is?
