anyone been down the coast know what the sea state is like, going off kings arms tonight. wondered what it was like.

Not good for open shore mate - decent swell on atm. Rivers/estuaries may be the option

Too right, Magic Seaweed are predicting 11 foot swells for tonight and they are normally very reliable.

I've sacked my session for tonight. Monday os looking pretty good mind

the sea is massive ....had a look from clifftops and not bothered unloading gear from the car....thinking estuary but unsure ..

yeh as davy says tynemouth pier will have waves coming over the top so i would not take the risk but stay in the river and have a bit of sport with coleys and the odd codling and flattys

The sea is much bigger today than it was yesterday and it was crashing over the pier then. Anything but the estuary/river will not only be fairly fruitless but very dangerous. Stay safe and you'll be able to enjoy your fishing for a lot longer

Fished panns bank up river wear today swell was big, cast out stright ahead line was ending up 47mile down river
