the sea state

hhmmmm!!!!! box sorted, rigs sorted, bait bought. what to do. tonight my only chance to get out. decisions decisions. deff going somewhere....but where to go now. good site that magic seeweed by the way. ill keep that one bookmarked.

yeh as davy says tynemouth pier will have waves coming over the top so i would not take the risk but stay in the river and have a bit of sport with coleys and the odd codling and flattys

The sea is much bigger today than it was yesterday and it was crashing over the pier then. Anything but the estuary/river will not only be fairly fruitless but very dangerous. Stay safe and you'll be able to enjoy your fishing for a lot longer
