To add to these I currently have two moulds in the final cure condition one a Large Twintail the other a gummie mac with the line moulded the full length of the lure, and I hear Tony is whittling away during the bad weather spell :) :) look forward to that one. :)

Roll on the decent weather I'm going stir (shad) crazy :)
I hope this is of some interest ...

Cheers

Would like to see your gummimac version, with the hook moulded in?

haha col, the gummie mac is with you in mind , you know what I mean :)
probably the most difficult mould to date due to the bend and the angled hook and the limited volume of material, but we'll see ..... might take a few tries to perfect it ......
I'm trying to mould the hook and the line all the way up the middle of the gummie to an external swivel, problem I think is going to be keeping the hookeye in the middle of the plastic body, I'm hoping the hook support will hold it .... but we'll see.... :) :)

fingers crossed, will know results of first attempt this week :D

I think its keeping the lure bent so it spins properly, and the swivel, a must have because of the spinning.10/0 is the biggest I use and hot orange is a good colour!

Hello,
First class work, real quality.....fish catchers every one of them and how good will it feel when you and Tony start pulling in fish on them.

(Rabone Chesterman rule too...only the best).

Regards Ian

Got a few more WIPs from the Wallsend lab...the large grub/shad hybrid I started today...the two shads have been going for a couple of weeks and the twin tail thingamajig happened by accident - but I quite like it :D

Bit more fine sanding and I'll be presenting them to the approvals committee (The Skipper :D)

Tony...... :) :) :) :) oh no ... look at all the moulds to make :) :) :) give me time :)

col......... yup the bend seems the most important, if they mould ok I'll make bigger (these are just 5/0.. 6/0 size) and hey :) believe me, you'll be the tester :) :)

Dunc ...... "I hope so" :) :)

Chris, David, Ian, Falcone, scotty, Karl, everyone ......... cheers lads :)

There is some graft gone into that! Well done, they look and I am sure will fish amazing!
All we need now is for these pesky easterlies to give it a rest! Looking at the long range forecast it looks like no chance until next weekend at the earliest! And even then the water will be chocolate!

Graham.
