This weekends boat comp

have been informed by Sam that the comp this weekend has been cancelled and will be fished on June 12th, so i will be able to do the weigh in and get myself a few mackerel and anything else that I can scrounge.

That's a shame Alan, was it called off because of the forecast, which is around 14-18mph westerly for Sunday which would still be ok fishing the hard ground up to 2-3 miles off

Better safe than sorry, and I get a lie-in too. With luck the wind will have dropped by the 12th and there will be a good turn out.

I think hats off to the organisers who have made a decision early which will allow people to not wait until 7pm on saturday for a call off - at least now all can plan for other bank holiday madness.

Good call, i had already spoken to Jason and Graham Monday to say we wont be out due to the weather unless a 80% improvement.

More mackerel for bait by then also..good call by them
