Anyone tried these tip lights read about them in sea angler h20 bite alert £5 each and had good report, so checked ebay and found these worth a shot, not that i will rely upon them but seem canny for a light if they last 1000 hrs!!

not sure how it works canny though if you get a tug the end flashes red :D

I was thinking about getting one till I seen a lad with one and after five min it was getting on my tits flashing also it must take a good knock to set it off as he got two and it didn't indicate a bite.

Prefer to use my own judgement but worth a go and if u get 1000 hrs will be a laugh bough 2 so they will be getting used fish matches quite a bit so more timing than bites but might be fun :p

sure someone on here has used one and said his head was battered with it turning red 2 green the full shift  imo rod tip light mark 1111 £5 from frazers is the dogs danglees :D

i got a couple of the h20 lights and personally i dont think they work. Tried them on one nite session had plenty of fish and the light did not change colour so i decided to change back to my old trusty tip lights

was on the pier saturday teatime was a young angler offered me a spare snap tip light when darkness approached , carnt believe it its still glowing since then :o

so what tip lights do people recomend then ?? not sure about now but i remember years ago having nothing but trouble with the line getting caught round the tip light, they where rather big and the wind ( even a light breeze) would wobble the tip all over the place :(
remember the old days with an led on the top with wires running through the rod to a battery fastened to the rod butt.....ideal while fishing but a royal pain in the backside all other times lol
