Just fished Newbiggin over low water Jonny got four codling @ 2lb ish and a few coalies,kept one codling and returned the rest,bitterly cold but fine,first time I\'ve fished during daylight for ages.
I\'ll probably be on Blyth pier tomorrow night or the beach depending on conditions

Might be worth trying Seaton Sluice if theres no weed,if yous are travelling along the coast have a look down there !

Where were you fishing alan. Had a drive around there on Sunday was fancying a chuck. Long time since I fished there.

Its either Big Rock or Boiler hole not 100% sure, might have two names, but its the south end of the Prom where the headland sticks out.It was quite heavy on end gear even with rotten bottoms.

Have only fished from the prom at high tide mate never tried on there. Will have to give it a go.
