Been dwn me Fav car park this afternoon... Had 4 or 5 flounders. Then on my last cast pulled In a plaice! Nice little fish!!! When these big tides do 1, I'm gana giv the 1st gate a whack and try for a nice big 1 !!!

Yep, definitely a flounder. Nice catch all the same.

Well done on ya catch buddy, good goin, ya addicted to that 'Plaice'! .

Though a hate to be the burdon of bad news mate but that isn't a Plaice. A lot of flounders can have bright spots, and when you look at the photo you can clearly see the rough lateral line that all flounders have.
It's still a nice fish all the same bud, but it ain't no Plaice... .

I thought I couldn't tell diff apart from spots !!!
Wondering if I've ever caught a plaice now!!! As I thought only them had orange spots!

Still a good bit sport mate. Hope you get the big un. I've got a few hours on ss pier tomorrow and might give the 1st gate a few chucks on the way off at high water.
