yes i agree he must of been horrified,we were on sheilds pier that night fishing when it happened[we werent the gut dropping rats at the hut by the way]me 2 mates were on the end and i was near end at the blocks,we saw the z boat go out past us and pilot so we witnessed the search aswell [we could see the anglers lights also]and when we left at 1.30 it was still all going on and we were saddened and i said how awfull it is and damn shame, atb plum:(

In my oppinion a few fish guts were not worth all this chew a simplemessage saying can people be more considerait and plz don't leave your rubbish and or fish guts please

Also I don't think that the guts impacted on the loss of a very distraught gentleman's life so do not try to pass that blame to the individual or individuals who left the gutts

Suicide is a cowards way out thes always some one worse off look at all the people dying for nothing who would love a second chance at life

I take it you've never suffered depression!
Some anti depression tablets have side effects of "suicidal thoughts" A close family member of mine recently took his own life while on prescribed anti depressants
And trust me I personally reckon it would be more cowardly to "bottle it"
Have you considered tying a rope round your neck, tying the knot yourself, then attaching the other end to an anchor point, then plucking the courage up to physically end your own life? I don't consider myself to be a coward but no way would I have the courage to do that!

One of my best friends hung himself it was a very very sad time hd was a tortured soul im afraid ...... never got over losing his mum ....... after the initial anger and annoyance at what he had done leaving family loved ones friends ect I.e. selfishness. ...... we also realised that one of the hardest things in the world must be to take your own life ..... so both sides have a very valid point there

Suffered with mental problems most of my life still wouldnt take my own life its selfish

Winton you just said your self man someone is always worse off and that poor lad obviously was far worse off than you.imo nothing selfish about it.. I to have depression, and have also had VERY low times it still is a taboo subject and people who have not had a loved one with it or suffered from it themselves are very much in the dark about understanding it

There's mental problems and mental problems on a different level, You dont know whats going through peoples minds, Some people can deal with mental problems and others cant, Everyone is different..some weak some strong and it must take one hell of a brave person to take their own life thats for sure, Yes i agree its a cowards way out for the likes of fred west and other killers but not the average joe
