Unbeliveable day on the JFK 16 march 2013

Headed out today on a very early start allan decided the night before that he wanted to fish in deep deep water so off we went past the piers on a bit of a rollie sea but not to bad we found the further we were steaming out the better it became About three later are so we decided to try a wreck allan went across it and it did look abit fishy so round again to line the drift up from the moment of everybody dropping there lines in the water there were fish after fish after fish coming over the gunnels there were 10 persons fishing on boat averge cod was between 10/12 pounds there were lings to 26 pounds biggest cod was 22 pounds we must of had easy 200 plus cod and a good 50 ling off this one wreck what a day to remember a one hell of a start to the season will post pics later as just getting back and iam knacked ohhh sorry lads only joking just thought i gets some hearts beating for the coming season lol
 
It's a bit early being only march Jimmy but thats GOT to be a serious contender for best post of the year .................. fantastic :D

aye paul sunshine and fair weather,not many days like that last year but fingers crossed for this year.
p.s. jimmys porkies have whipped me into a frenzy,just bought another reel. DOH !
