van staal absolutly crazy

I have had my poundshop pliers for about 6 months and are still going strong:D
No way on gods green earth I would pay that much for a pair of pliers!!!

I suppose to some £205 would be a lot to pay for a pair of pliers. It would be to me. But as he says fishing is his life and he only likes the best gear. Myself I,ve just bought a Kompressor ss worth over £200, I wonder how long it will last me ? Anyone in this forum bought a new car, and how may thousands did it cost and how long did you have the asaid vehicle ? Daiwa Saltiga, an exceptional good reel by all accounts, well over £200 to buy. Just putting things into perspective people, like I say to the other half when I take in my new fishing reel or rod, I married the best,---------------------------------------------- so I will fish with the best.

This brings a whole new meaning to the phrase " Tackle Tart ".No one likes quality tackle more than me 2 rods and 4 reels for near a grand plus my boat gear but £205 for a pair of pliers :o, bet his missus does'nt know he paid that much for them..;) cos my missus does'nt know how much i paid for my gear.:D

Do you really think these guys that do the reviews pay crazy money for products just so they can make features for web sites and mags , regarding these pliers all i can say they might be a good , but who in the right mind to pay that sort of cash for pliers not me for sure.

Would you pay 205 quid for a pack of hooks ? I dont think so, everyone including me likes to use quality gear but you just cant justify the price of some things and these are one of them things, crazy as hell :o

why not

why not

thats not the point if thay were 500 quid people wd still buy em. we have enough rules. are u now going 2 tell people what 2 spend there money on next' ill never understand why it bothers any 1 what people spend there money on

yeah i agree people get 2 involved in telling others what 2 do with there own gear.

but wouldnt spend 205 on pliers but thats just me.

not judging people for buying them am judging the price

Thats a tad steep for my(wifes) budget.
£5 For a pair at a local diy shop. Replace 3 or 4 times a year =minimum 10 Years.
Would Van Staal pliers last that long on a N/E coast. .?
