got my eye on a different braid this year and this has caught my eye...
Ultima Power Braid Red 80lb (300yd spool) *New* on eBay (end time 03-Jan-11 08:35:48 GMT)
not sure whether to go with 50lb or 80lb...but for double the yardage at almost the same price it's almost a no brainer - unless os course someone tells me it's crap and shoudl steer clear

Accudepth is now made with an 8 Braid Hyper PE so it is round, smooth and ultra soft. Designed for anglers requiring depth and distance accuracy. Accu Depth is calibrated in five different colours changing every 10 metres with 1m and 5m markers. If the fish are feeding in mid water then this is an easy way of ensureing you put your bait back in the right place every time.

tgw go into lewis tackle and ask for a look at it:question:if your only fishing local(north east coast i think 50lb be more than adequate:exclam: in fact im thinking of dropping down to 30 for some of the areas we fish
also possibly going to try wire on some of the clean ground

I fish with powerpro braid , I use 50lb and 30lb , it's great stuff , 30lb is quite enough b.s. for anything I do out of Amble , I use the 50lb as well , but it was really bought for casting big lures at pike ,they tend to crack off anything less than 50lb if the cast is not quite right
not really any need for the extra breaking strain when I'm just dropping down rigs or pirks over the side. I've not used any other colour than green though I've seen red and yellow , doubt there will be any difference in the actua line?

it is no coincedence that I chose that link as t'was in said shop I first spied it ;-)
