Fished the walkway on Sunday night, and had 1 decent whitie in 3 hours, so I went back through to the ratty where I had about 8 chucks and had 8 good whitie's, went back down to the end of the old pier during the day Monday to fish the bait off and got another 6 whitie's all a good stamp of fish, didn't see anyone catch anything other than whitie's though, praying for a good stir up like, a good easterly please thank you very much, the lads on the boats say there's still plenty of cod about a mile offshore so a nice easterly would be very welcome.

The commercial lads I spoke to were coming back with full skips a mile offshore.

Aye Gaz, better get the time in while the fish are still here, they'll all start disappearing into next month, then we'll be back to scratching our ar*es wondering what to do with ourselves :(

It's no good blaming those lads for trying to earn a living, they've got to do it for wages, don't forget we are only doing it for fun, anyway it's got nothing to do with the nets being a mile off shore, the fishing is sh*te because we have hardly had any on shore winds this season, I don't care where the commercial lads put their nets just as long as they are out of casting distance.
