alright i take it nobody has any old chess pieces, ust think of my poor dear five year old grandaughter unwrapping her present on christmas day to find her beautiful pink palace has pieces missing. Hope all your fishing rods come without top section and your reels without handles. Na Na NA NA NA NAAAAAA

LMAO

Alan they can\'t be that much to buy can they? unless you need a zillion. Get some silicon and make a mould, cast a few perhaps, aparently it\'s not that hard. And to re-create the stone look a bit of sand in the casting medium or summat.

cheers charlie, but i need wood ones, will have to have a look in the cheap shops. Easiest way for the stone look is to cover whatever with glue and them sprinkle with a mixture of sand and sawdust, then paint, gives a great effect, did the grandsons fort that way. Might even do grandughters palace that way as well.

had a look at Toys R Us marc they where a bit rough, if i dont get anything else they will do. Going to Tynemouth station market and asda to see what i can get.

cheers for the effort Jim, could be a change of plan in the offing, might use fairies, more for a girl i suppose. It is catching the little blighters and then trying to glue them down that is the hard bit.
