Was hoping to give my 14ft project it's 1st run out Sunday & looking on windfinder the best time to couch Sunday morn would be bout 5am if goes well then might fish til 10 ish . Upton now wind is minimal & westly so wee boat should be ok, but it's only Wednesday

just checked again , bloody changes all time, could somebody just comfirm im reading right on windfinder, that from 4am till bout 10ish winds are low 5/8 knts & swell is bout 1 metre, is it worth a shot wetting the boat for 1st time?????

Reet tell me if im silly??? but going for it ! weather/sea permitting, be out crack of dawn get used to boat in river then venture out into the vast blue , northerlys but very low wind n swell to 1metre ... will any1 be out round blyth n whitley etc?

Saturday only for me due to me having to be home with the kids on Sunday morning for Fathers day! Saying that a quick session on Sunday afternoon/evening might be a possible

To be honest mate, if it's your first time using the boat you want the conditions to be spot on, and if possible someone to ride shotgun with you so if you hit problems at least you can get a tow back. There will be plenty nice days to come
