Why do people do it

steve, ive read some of the older threads, and you did come through as a bit arrogant, try and use the site as a tool to improve(i dont condone some of the vitriol coming out of some peoples gobs)as a fisherman if any of us thinks we know it all(your guilty of that sometimes)we might as well hang up the rods.as you can see by some of my posts ive supported you throughout, but try and get on with people a little better, the massive majority of the lads on the site will help you(even some of those who have their backs up)so think twice, think again then ask advice:cool:

People are having a go because your a cheeky little **** who needs bringing down a peg!!! We're sick of hearing crap! Your trying to tell people how to do things when you know very little. That's it from me!

Obviously hard as nails talking to a kid like that. Get a grip man.

as i,ve said in some of my posts when people where having ago at scotty i would,nt like them talking to my sons like that again this is someones son he,s 15 got alot of crap going on in his life for the big world out thier [exams etc alot of pressure we,ve all been cheeky sods in our day but we hopefully grow up well some of us and it,s a small world out thier and every dog has its day.

Why is it from my skim of this thread that if someone expresses an opinion that is disliked we get the "hard as nails" or "shameful" posts?
It’s an opinion expressed my someone and we may not like the content and tone in which case express a counter opinion, at least that would bring something to the debate.
But then again that is just my opinion. ;)
But on the point of a 15 year old putting a web page together and throwing himself heart and soul into angling I think that is fantastic, all credit to him.
Something that I hope he will be putting on any future job application.
But if ,as I do, he has a problem with spelling then as has been said it is easy to first run a spell checker .
Plus read and read again what was typed, a spell checker will not pick up everything.
Maybe not everything that he does but for a web site or something of equal importance then yes.
Some of the comments on this thread maybe not the most pleasant and many may also have the tongue firmly in the cheek.
But if this thread means the youngster takes heed and does as I and others have said, when he puts together something of importance then check it.
Otherwise the job application with all the achievements on it I mentioned would probably end up in the bin only partly read.
Good luck to him, nice to see such spirit in one so young.
