Why do people have to spoil a good days fishing??/

Feel exactly the the same way mate I personaly rarely fish there now and try to find diffrent spots. for 2 reasons firstly nobody seemed to fish and it was great to fish with quite often only yourself there. secondly the rubbish !

I would prefer now if they would charge folk to get in now, that might keep the fine weather lot out. can see that happening soon if not banned if english heritage found out what was happening.

Happens every year now shame for not only the regular genuine anglers but the wildlife that lives there.

Well done for the tidy not many would do that .....

they already know george, last year i got there about six in the morning and spoke to two lads who had been fishing all night and had been camping also, there were empty cans all over the place and rubish everywhere. they said hello and one of them said he was away for the car, i remember saying that you could not drive up to the gate but the answer i got was "i will just take the gates off their hinges" .
after they went the lad who works at the castle came down on the rocks and gave me a shout asking if all the rubish was mine. i told him no it wasn't and we had a bit chin wag saying they were sick of all the crap that was left.
if it keeps going it wont be long before another good fishing spot gets taken away from the good lads who leave only there footsteps when they leave
