wind

its not always the wind that drivrs the sea. theres been some canny lutyle southerlies in last couple weeks. enough to bring the fish in

17m seas thats 55ft. surely you mean feet. i check the bouys iut at sea mosts days and biggest swell i have seen recently is 5m

No my cousins mate is off shore in Scotland or somewhere like that he said on the phone 17m and they were lipping the platform

He's also been out there for 3 weeks so coulda been anytime really

the sea might be big but its the direction it moving in that matters to us.

a strong wind off the land might flatten it on shore but will be massive offshore.
