Hi Alan, I remember seeing a turbot caught in a Lynemouth club Sunday afternoon match which weighed over 5lb. It was caught at the railway hole or thereabouts. Can’t quite remember exactly how long ago but would guess about 6 or 7 years ago.The match was won with this turbot.I remember the guy saying it was a canny size flatty! and it was caught using razor. Hope this helps
Not been many boats out pal with the forecast been poor . Last week there recon there was plenty of codling just out of casting range from the shore pal

well the best crab is devon crab if you can get hold of it,used to go down to the teign and Dawlish once a month right up to December as long as there was no frosts.the best crab localy is the middins beach tyre traps.had most of my success on devon crab. davy.
Dave, years ago I got a lot of crab from the west coast, and I fished all the winter with them, I would say with average success. Last winter I kept tyne crab separate from West coast crab and really didn't see a great deal of diff. If the fish were there, I got them on both. Speaking with different lads they say they have found a diff, what's your thoughts. Thanks John Gilbo.
Hi Alan mate 1st place was caught at the target ryhope
2nd + 3rd place was caught at the featherbed rock pal
