check this headlight

they are great mate that was my first head lamp only bad thing about them is battery life but if you were to get a rechargable battery you would be in the money with one of these babys lol

batterys not a problem as got a good few rechargables from my old camera, still for 6 quid if it goes tits up then so be it. I thought about buying a good one but i dont fish enough to justify the 200 notes. I the past i have gone through a few cheap lights, 2 proper oldham miners lamps a petzl zoom and a petzl mini and am currently using a everready 3 led thing that was a freeby. In my opinion you only need to see your hands and the rod tip so a mega light is not really needed !

i bet your the sort of guy that will join the sally army drum team just to wake people up on a sunday morn ;), i have the miners lamp, was looking seriously at the diamond unit to replace it, now you show me this, damn you man have you no interest of care for peoples sanity :D:D:D:D:D,

i broached the subject with my beloved, i.e for xmas

whats wrong with your one you got

your not a miner

what you mean so you can see, you see well enough when your drunk

for fishing, aint you got enough fishing tackle

cant you think of something usefull you would like

why did you just buy that petrol lamp thingy then

should have straight in with that expensive one, got it off the life insurance claim :o:D:D:D:D

The Stenlight with twin luxeon is a good light, but will still put out marginally less light than an Apex with a Seoul P4 LED conversion fitted. The Luxeon LED's are old technology now - if you can say that about something that's only about 3-4 years old !

why buy a light to take it apart,i have a apex and its more than bright enough:D looks to much of a faff to me and no doubt princeton will pick up on using the seoul led and they will be selling them soon enough, after all its in their interest to be up in the market:)

whats this talk of new lights, i thought every one was happy with the cheapo's they were buying from hong kong last winter

how many lumens are they anyone know

230 lumens at max. 4 different power settings. About 2 to 3 hours burn tim on max.. I have one but I only use it for caving, wouldnt buy one exclusively for fishing, total overkill. Plenty of decent enough lamps at a tenth of the price of a Sten.
